Are you within walking distance to the U.S. Capitol?
Just look to your left when exiting the hotel, and you’ll see the Capitol two short blocks away! The Capitol Visitor Center, the main entrance to the U.S. Capitol, is located beneath the East Front plaza of the U.S. Capitol at First Street and East Capitol Street. To get there from the hotel is a half-mile walk—turn left onto New Jersey Ave., left onto Constitution Ave., and then right onto First St.
Are you within walking distance to the National Mall?
Yes, we are! We’re six blocks from the east end of the National Mall, where you’ll find many of D.C.’s iconic museums and monuments. To get there, make a left on New Jersey Ave., a right on D St., continue onto Indiana Ave., take a left on 4th St. NW, and you’ll hit the mall.
How do I get to the Liaison Capitol Hill from Union Station?
Did you come to D.C. via Amtrak? We’re an easy 7 minute (.4 mile) walk from Union Station. Just exit the station, make a left on E St NW and then take a left on New Jersey Ave. NW. The Liaison will be on your left. You can view a map here.
Are you close to Metro stations?
We are a few blocks away from Judiciary Square and Union Station (Red Line), but recommend you visit Union Station during your stay because of its stunning architecture. Using the Metro is a great way to tour the city, since parking can often be tough to find. Try familiarizing yourself with the Metro map so you can navigate like a pro once you’ve arrived!
