    Revival's Executive Chef Wilbur Cox's strong passion for food and service began when he was five on his family’s farm in rural North Carolina. At 13, he began working at his family’s restaurant as a dishwasher. From there he moved up to work alongside some of the finest chefs in the restaurant world, including E. Michael Reidt, Patricia Yeo, and Guillermo Tellez-Cruz.

    Chef Cox has worked in kitchens around the world, including Scandinavia and Ireland, which further ignited his culinary passion. Each adventure led to a new technique he's brought back to Baltimore, including the city's most well-known restaurants, such as Ixia, The Bicycle, Charleston Restaurant, The Wine Market, and B+O American Brasserie.

    As an amateur forager, Cox focuses on local and sustainable ingredients. And it's that talent for creating new flavors with what's current and local that he brings to Revival. When he’s not in the kitchen, you can find him restoring antique furniture or spending playful days with his Chesapeake Bay retriever pup, Bruno.
