Will the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) become a hub for convos on race and culture? Now that it has undergone a $1.3 million remodel by the cutting-edge design firm Gensler, that’s the idea. MoAD recounts the stories and shows the works from Africans who migrated from their homeland. On display until April 5 are the politically provocative prints of Elizabeth Catlett, a visual voice during the civil rights movement.
