The artistry of puppets will be awakened in Chicago this winter.
Puppets come in as many shapes, sizes, and personalities as people. They can be as benign as Lamb Chop, or as terrorific as Chucky. Familiarize yourself with the range at the inaugural Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival that includes darkly comic puppet plays (THE TEMP), controversial animated programs (Cartooon), and family-friendly shows (The Joshua Show). Fifty different performances are on the schedule at ten different cultural venues. There are even a couple freebies.
