Hot Diggity Dog!

Our Artist in Residence, Megan Roy, dreams up creative projects inspired by our hotels. This time, it’s The Liaison Capitol Hill, a dog-friendly property located in the heart of Washington, DC.

And the project? An embroidered dog bandana featuring some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

Megan says, “Like many Joie de Vivre Hotels, The Liaison allows you to travel with your furry companions. As a pet owner, I think that’s definitely worth celebrating—and I decided to include my own dog, Ruby, in this piece. I’ve hand-sewn the outlines of various landmarks into the fabric, including the Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Supreme Court Building, and Jefferson Memorial. Can you spot them all?”
