Taking a few creative liberties, of course, the new Brickell nightclub El Tucán conjures up a 1940s-era Havana cabaret in modern-day Miami. On weekends, dinner’s served at 8 and at 11, and the bands play on into the not-so-wee hours. If that isn’t an excellent reason to cross the causeway from the Beaches, we don’t know what is.
