On-Screen Inspiration

A design-conscious film series at Stanford University.

On Fridays throughout the summer—including June 23, and looking ahead, July 14 and August 4—the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University presents Good Design, a film series in collaboration with the exhibition Creativity on the Line: Design for the Corporate World, 1950-1975. Take a look at Eames chairs and Olivetti typewriters, and then pop into the auditorium. First up: a series of shorts tackling such topics as Bauhaus and 20th-century design icons.
