Pulitizer Prize, Here We Come!

Last year, the drama Detroit, by New Orleans’ own Lisa D’Amour, was shortlisted for a Pulitzer Prize. So we’ve got high hopes for her latest play, Airline Highway, which ran for two months on Broadway (to rave reviews), and opens the Southern Rep’s 30th season this month. Plus, this one is set in a seedy motel in the outskirts of the Big Easy and stars a fading burlesque queen—that should beat the Motor City any day, right?
