What’s making us happy today
Random messages. Sometimes street art can say the darndest, most loving things. “Admit Love,” stamped on the sidewalk in San Francisco’s Mission District, is waiting for people to look down… then look around, to see where the message might be coming from.
The staying power of drive-ins. Folks, drive-in movies are not dead. In fact, a few of them offer the old-fashioned deal of a double feature. Summer nights are limited at Chicago’s Cascade Drive-In — even though the theater is open until December. (It loans you portable electric heaters and, since you can bring your pet, we’re assuming added warmth.) West Wind Drive-In is open year-round in Sacramento and San Jose.
