Are you walking distance to the US Capitol?

Just look to your left when exiting the hotel, and you’ll see the Capitol two short blocks away! The Capitol Visitor Center, the main entrance to the U.S. Capitol, is located beneath the East Front plaza of the U.S. Capitol at First Street and East Capitol Street. To get there from the hotel is a half-mile walk – turn left onto New Jersey Ave., left onto Constitution Ave., and then right onto First St.

Are you walking distance to the National Mall?

Yes indeed. We are six blocks from the east end of the National Mall, where you’ll find many of DC’s iconic museums and monuments. To get there, make a left on New Jersey Ave., a right on D St., continue onto Indiana Ave., take a left on 4th St. NW, and you’ll hit the mall.

How do I get to the Liaison Capitol Hill DC from Union Station?

Did you come to DC via Amtrak? We’re an easy 7 minute (.4 miles) walk from Union Station. Just exit the station, make a left on E St NW and then a left on New Jersey Ave. NW. The Liaison will be on your left. You can view a map here.

Are you close to Metro stations?

We are a few blocks away from Judiciary Square and Union Station (Red Line), but recommend you visit Union Station during your stay because of its stunning architecture. Using the Metro is a great way to tour the city, since parking can often be tough to find. Try familiarizing yourself with the Metro map so you can navigate like a pro once you’ve arrived!

Do you have a concierge?

Our concierge team is here to help you with anything you might need to ensure your trip is a special one. Do you have a pool?

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

Check in time is 4 pm; check out is 12 noon

Do you allow pets?

We love our four-legged companions. Fido is welcome. ($75 non-refundable fee per stay)

How much do you charge for Wi-Fi Internet access?

Hotel Facilities Fee which includes premium high speed internet access, local and domestic calls, an in room bottle of water daily and access to Press Reads, a mobile app which lets you read newspapers and magazines from around the world.

Do you have a fitness center?

Our fitness center is open 24 hours a day. It includes cardio equipment, free weights and a stretch area.

Do you have a business center?

Our business center is available 24 hours a day to guests and features two desktops stations. Charges apply.

Do you have onsite parking?

We offer valet parking with in and out privileges ($54 per night).

Do you allow smoking on property?

The Liaison Capitol Hill DC is a non-smoking hotel.

How do I get to the Liaison Capitol Hill from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)?

The Liaison is located 5 miles from DCA, approximately 12 minutes via taxi cab or rideshare. Please allow additional time during rush hour.

Via Metro:

  • Enter station using the National Airport Metro Station (Blue/Yellow Lines)
  • Take the Yellow Line train in the direction of Mount Vernon, Fort Totten, or Greenbelt
  • Exit at Gallery Place-Chinatown
  • Take the Red Line train in the direction of Glenmont
  • Exit at Union Station

Or

  • Enter station using the National Airport Metro Station (Blue/Yellow Lines)
  • Take the Blue Line train in the direction of Largo Town Center
  • Exit at Metro Center
  • Take the Red Line train in the direction of Glenmont
  • Exit at Union Station 

How do I get to the Liaison Capitol Hill from Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)?

The Liaison is located 33 miles from BWI, approximately 55 minutes via taxi cab or rideshare. Please allow additional time during rush hour.

How do I get to the Liaison Capitol Hill from Dulles (IAD)?

The Liaison is located 34 miles from Dulles, approximately 50 minutes via taxi cab or rideshare. Please allow additional time during rush hour.

The Silver Line Express Bus provides a convenient, economical connection between Dulles’ Terminal and the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station on Metrotrail’s Silver Line. The trip takes about 15 minutes. Then take the Metro to Union Station (Red Line).
