Jul 31 2013
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
595 Market Street (at Second) Second floor
San Francisco, CA 94105
Fernando Iglesias, Professor of International Governance, University of Belgrano, Buenos Aires; Former Member, Argentine Parliament; Chair, World Federalist Movement Council
Complex global economic, ecological and security issues and associated political developments drives those who are working for what they envision as a peaceful, fairer and more democratic global order. Iglesias believes that revolts in the Arab world, Madrid, Athens, Istanbul, Wall Street, etc., show an increasing discontent with the current decision-making system and will discuss how they provide momentum for campaigning for global democracy, which is attracting support from futurists and other intellectuals from around the world.
