JOIE DE VIVRE GIVES

Joie de Vivre Hotels is a grass roots organization that strives to have a positive impact on our community. Each of our hotels is dedicated to donating at a minimum $200 per guest room per year to organizations in their communities. Examples of these donations include gift certificates for hotel stays or dinner for two at one of our restaurants, donating meeting space and food to a non-profit for fundraising events or meetings, organizing an event to raise money for an organization, donating employee hours for time volunteered, or cash donations.

As an extension of Joie de Vivre Gives, each hotel participates in the You Can Make a Difference program launched in April of 2008. The primary objective is to engage our guests by giving them the option to add an additional $1 of their total bill for each night they stay with us. Guests are able to opt out of this program at check-out.

As part of our philanthropic efforts at the Wild Palms, we have partnered with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital's "Hotels with a Heart" Program providing lodging for financially limited families from Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. In addition, we support our local community through the Sunnyvale Community Services.
