• The hotel staff was great friendly, courteous & engaging. The housekeeping staff kept our room spotless. In fact, one staff member saw me walking in the rain and ran out with an umbrella to keep me from getting wet. What great service! It is a great place to stay and reasonably priced. My husband & I will be back.

• We were going to a concert at the Great American Hall and the Phoenix Hotel was recommended to us. The hotel is retro from the old motels of the 60-70's. The rooms have been updated but it still has the retro feel. There is free parking, which is a plus in SF. The staff was very friendly and helpful with a map, places to eat, etc.
