Sacramento Wedding at The Citizen Hotel by Kate Miller Events
Style Me Pretty, April 2012
I really liked the look of the hotel, which has a bit of a 1920's feel. The elevators and staircases were really cool as were the hallways, check in area, fixtures etc. I was impressed by our bathroom as well, which was very big and and kept within the deco feel. All in all, a very nice hotel. (Also, the staff was great! Very welcoming!)

I have been wanting to try this Joie de Vivre property since the first time I saw it. It is a 1920's style luxury hotel with great features and design. I was upgraded to a suite on the 10th floor. Beautiful room, HD TV and stylish features. All of the staff were very friendly. They have a wine hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m. It is a great location near the capitol and downtown.

The location of this Hotel is excellent, the rooms are small, but perfectly decorated, the place feels like a Boutique Hotel in Paris, not California, we liked it a lot. The valet parking is worth the convenience. If your looking for an intimate downtown place to stay, you won't be dis-appointed. The bathroom soaps and lotions are top quality. We'll be back.

My wife and I are so pleased we stayed at the Citizen. We loved the building with it's modern flare on classic architecture. The staff was very accommodating... opening doors for us, arranging early an check-in and late check out, and calling for taxis. They even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful one room suite!

I stayed at the Citizen Hotel for one night while attending a business meeting in Sacramento. It is a lovely boutique hotel that is close to the convention center and the State Capitol Building. I had a small but well appointed room. The shower was large and the room was very comfortable for one person.
