Stand Up Paddle Boarding, (SUP), is the newest water-sport that is exploding into popularity. Essentially it is standing on a giant surfboard and propelling yourself along with a single ended paddle.

Skip work for the day and head to Pacific Edge Hotel for an obligation vacation, where guests who book this package spend the day in a surf-inspired indoor/outdoor private cabana (maybe you have some buddies who wants to ditch their jobs for the day too?). To sweeten the deal, guests receive a cozy hotel room to crash in, bottomless Bloody Mary's (from 12pm-2pm, and all drinks are doubles during this time), a copy of the movie Office Space for inspiration, and an actual list of the best excuses to give your boss concerning why you need to take the day off. Surfers of all ages and skill levels will enjoy paddling out with an instructor and learning to catch an epic wave, like numerous legends did before them in one of surfing's hotspots, with a two-hour private surf lesson in Laguna Beach. Receive quality instruction, dynamic curriculum and safety-first attitude that is synonymous with Billabong Surf Camps. And alright maybe it won’t be so epic on your first day, but come on, every great surfer had to start somewhere.

For every Billabong Surf Experience that is booked, a donation is made to organizations such as Reef Check and the Ocean Institute who protect surf spots and keep our beaches and oceans pristine and healthy and provide environmental education.
Note:
Surfing and Stand up lessons are dependent on the conditions of the surf. We will make every effort to find the perfect conditions for you during your stay, but the ocean is the ocean and can be unpredictable. Must be able to swim and Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult - sideline accompany only, no instructions or payment required to watch from the beach.
