• The hotel is conveniently located near LAX. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable, a good size and recently redecorated. We ate a couple of meals at the hotel restaurant and they were excellent - fresh and full of flavour.

Even during a remodel with stress levels high, both on the staff and patron level, this place still resonates with me. JDV hospitality always does it right. If JDV were managing the remodel of your house, you wouldn’t even know it was happening.

• I've stayed here now four times, and keep coming back. They're currently doing a lobby reno, and I hope they retain their playful & quirky style. Checkin staff and bell staff are among the friendliest and most helpful I've had anywhere. I really feel like a B-list Los Angeleno movie star whenever I stay. Rooms are comfy, clean, modern/minimalist.

• Despite the hotel renovations going on, this hotel was fabulous! I was in between homes so traveling with my two well-behaved dogs... we never felt displaced. The staff is super agreeable, the valet guys always cheerful, the front desk folks -- Xandra and Chelsea very accommodating and kind.
