Geja's Café, Chicago's most romantic restaurant, will celebrate wines of the Old World all throughout August and September with their "Out with the New and In with the Old" Wine Festival. The event will take guests back in time and celebrate the true origins of wine and its process. Geja's Café will feature an extended selection of Old World wines available both by the glass and the bottle at low promotional prices through September 30.
In addition to their "Out with the New and In with the Old" festival, Geja's Café will celebrate wines from the southern hemisphere with their South American Superstars Winemaker Dinner on Monday, September 9. The event, which begins with a 6:30 p.m. reception, will feature a four-course fondue dinner and four glasses of wine. Cost for each dinner is $55 per person, which includes the wines, dinner, tax and gratuity. Geja's has been the site of 132,750 first dates and 16,124 engagements and diners have enjoyed over 306 tons of cheese fondue and over 917,500 bottles of wine over its 48 year existence.
