Destination
No other hotel can provide the full Berkeley experience better than Hotel Durant. The streets are filled with coeds walking or biking to campus in the California sun. One block away is Telegraph Avenue, where you can grab a slice of pizza, discuss politics over a cup of chai, or browse used CDs. You’ll also spot a few tie-dye t-shirts and liberal bumper stickers to remind you that you’re on the left coast.
This is a great walking neighborhood, with trendy shopping and dining on nearby College Avenue and more casual shops and eateries along Telegraph Avenue. Berkeley Rep and Aurora Theatre are just one mile away, offering world premiere plays and excellent local productions.
