If you're planning an event in downtown Sacramento, there's no better place than the Citizen Hotel's event spaces. Our flexible meeting and event spaces are the perfect location for parties, business events, and more.

We have over 11,000 square feet of meeting and conference facilities, including the historic Plaza Park Ballroom and the tented Metropolitan Terrace. On the second floor, you'll find the Quorum Room and its two breakout rooms "Yea" and "Nay". Onsite catering is provided by Grange Restaurant & Bar with farm-to-table seasonal specialties for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Metropolitan Terrace

Our magnificent rooftop Metropolitan Terrace has views of the California State Capitol and the downtown skyline. The terrace is dramatically tented and enclosed on two sides with operable windows which can be opened during beautiful weather to give you the feeling of an outdoor event space. If you prefer to use the space for a formal meeting, the blackout drapes can be pulled closed to create a more intimate setting. The 3,000-square-foot Sacramento event space can be tailored to meet your special needs.
