Explore Oakland with the Insurance Lady!
Please join me Sunday September 22 for a special docent lead tour of the exhibit "Above and Below: Stories from our Changing Bay"
11 am and 1pm - meet up at the Blue Oak Cafe for tours that begin at 11:30 and 1:30 respectively
Please make sure to select a time when you register!
These events are absolutely FREE to our clients and referral partners. They are designed to be relaxed community building events bringing together local people to enjoy our city. One of my favorite things about being an insurance agent is that I get to meet so many interesting people, and I love connect people who can help each other.
p.s. There will be NO insurance sales pitch - I promise. Do bring your business cards and network a bit. It's Oakland, and there's always someone intersting to meet.
pps. Each event is designed to be intimate so attendance will be limited and advance registration is absolutely required!
Ruth - why are you doing this?
First - to thank you for supporting my agency. In 2006, I started selling insurance out of my home office - I had a cell phone and a laptop. I met ALL of my clients in their home or business . The agency was small so I had time to get to know people. Fast forward - and I have a great team serving nearly 2000 clients - and as much as we try - we simply don't get to spend as much time with our clients and friends as we'd like. These events are a chance to relax and reconnect. We are looking forward to spending time with you!
Second - because we love our community and our city and we want to share some of our favorite places with you. In these high tech days - many agents and insurance companies have a regional or even national marketing plan because they can so easily do business over the phone and internet. We like technology too! But I decided from the early days of the agency that we would maintain a local focus because I wanted to be part of the community. That's actually one of the reasons I because an insurance agent.
