A native of Los Angeles, Retha Jones, has been tickling funny bones across America for nearly 20 years. She started her career as a model and actress, and discovered her talent for comedy after touring with Shelly Garrett’s hit stage play, "Beauty Shop."
From there, she hit the comedy club circuit and felt at home making audiences erupt in laughter. In addition to performing at several comedy clubs and venues across the U.S., she has performed on several television comedy shows, including HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," BET’s "Comic View," Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend," among others.
Jones has won several comedy competitions including the 1st Annual California Comedy Festival and California's Funniest Female Contest. She was also named the first Runner-Up in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition and won the hearts of America as one of the Season 5 semi-finalists of NBC's hit show, "Last Comic Standing." Recognized by fans and critics as being one of the funniest female comics on today's comedy scene, Jones has been featured in many publications spotlighting upcoming talent, including the LA TIMES “Five To Watch” and Essence Magazine's “Class Clowns” issue featuring promising comediennes.
Eric was raised in North Carolina with five siblings and a single mom. He grew upthinking that laughter was the best way to deal with his problems. Eric at the age of 8 told a pastor that when he grows up he wants to be a clown because they made everyone laugh. Years later he moved to San Francisco and kept the idea that laughter cured everything. Always going around and making people laugh no matter the circumstances. One day he decided to give stand-up a chance and went to a local Open Mic in Fairfield, CA and gave it a shot. After having a terrible set for his first time, Eric felt like he had to strive to be better and overcome the fear of public speaking. Eric loves to talk about the problems in his life which include: Relationships, not knowing his biological dad, being short, having insomnia and just everyday life experiences. From once producing and hosting comedy night at the Impala Lounge in San Francisco, CA to now traveling and getting on stages in California, Washington, New York, Nevada, Montana, Illinois, Ohio, Oregon, North Carolina. He Also worked with some big names like: Lavell Crawford, Ben Gleib, Brad Williams, Donnell Rawlings, Damon Wayans Jr, Rodney Perry, David Raibon, John Whiterspoon, Michael Yo and so on.
