While you're there, enjoy the Friday Nights @ OMCA festivities between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., featuring live music by Bay Area artists, dance lessons, family-friendly drop-in art workshops, talks and tastings by Bay Area makers, food trucks courtesy of Off the Grid, and half-price gallery admission (ages 18 and under are free).
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) is at 1000 Oak Street, at 10th Street, in Oakland. OMCA is situated between downtown Oakland and Lake Merritt. The entrance to the parking garage is on Oak Street between 10th and 12th streets. Additional parking is available at the Alco Parking Garage located at 165 13th Street at Jackson Street.
Disabled parking slots and entrance to the Museum are on the street level of the garage. A disabled pedestrian entrance ramp is located on Oak Street, and at 10th and Fallon Street.
