Want to be able to powerfully present your personal story as it relates to your work?
Come to our one-day interactive workshop where you will be supported to explore, hone and present your personal story. The workshop will help you better connect with your audiences and move them to action. The workshop uses a specific public speaking method developed by President Obama’s Advisor Marshall Ganz.
Being willing and able to tell your personal story is an important leadership skill and a critical piece of being able to build authentic relationships within your community, with donors and with stakeholders.
If you want to feel more confident and more like yourself when you are speaking in front of a group, this workshop is for you. Those who might be interested include:
An entrepreneur who wants to improve communication with investors. An activist who speaks publically in the community. A person who will be interviewing for jobs, college or graduate school.
An artist who is working on his/her personal statement.
A public servant who wants to improve his/her public speaking.
Founders of MPP, Heather and Julian, are expert storytellers who have led this workshop all over the world. They were trained by storytelling guru Marshall Ganz himself and are members of his Leading Change Network based out of Harvard University. Julian has been mentored by globally recognized orator and green jobs visionary Van Jones and Heather by nationally acclaimed leadership coach and transformational speaker, Rha Goddess.
Testimonial from Hong Hoang, Vietnam, 350.org Vietnam National Director:
"The MPP Workshop really helped my team build confidence to be public speakers and better organizers. Public speaking is one important job my team members need to do on a regular basis, and it used to be their biggest challenge. But now I am really impressed by the way they tell their life stories that they did not dare to share with any others before, to move people, gain their interest, and mobilize their support for our work."
Testimonial from Amanda Slavin, USA, Catalyst Week, Founder:
"Doing this work on my story rewired my brain."
