The Affordable Care Act — aka PPACA or Obama Care — will affect all employers regardless of size, but the size of your business does have the potential to complicate things. For example, if you have 20 or more employees, you must comply with SF HCSO. If you have 50 or more employees, you may have to comply with both SF HCSO AND Obama Care.
Obama Care isn’t going to eliminate SF HCSO requirements. You’ll need to know how to comply with one or both of them. So, how do these two plans differ? Do you understand their requirements? How they’ll affect your company? Have you started planning for 2014? This is the perfect time to start, as the new requirements will likely impact your budget, staffing, benefit plans, how much you pay for benefits, and employee policies.
Businesses cannot afford to ignore these plans. Failure to comply with one or both will bring down a lot of unwanted attention from the city, the state, and the IRS. It could cost you a lot more than just money.
Join us and let us help you unscramble the new requirements and understand how it will affect your business. The seminar is a great place to start planning and be proactive. We can help you save you time, money, and a lot of headaches.
