Finding Personal and Sustainable Meaning in the High Holiday
The High Holidays are usually associated with a long time spent in the synagogue, banging the heart and promising to be good. After Yom Kippur, has anything changed? Let’s explore what the Kabbala says about the deeper meaning of Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur and Sukkot and try to come away this year with a down to earth, meaningful experience that we can take with us into the rest of the year.
No prior knowledge or observance required.
Rabbi Yosef Levin is the Executive Director Rabbi of Chabad Greater South Bay. Rabbi Levin considers his constituency to be all Jews, regardless of background or affiliation, and welcomes every Jew without judgment as an equal member of the Jewish community. He has been teaching Talmud, Jewish Law, Kabbalah and Chassidism in the Bay Area for over 30 years.
