Jump$tart board members will provide a brief presentation on progress toward integrating personal finance concepts into common core adoption; with a particular focus on enriching mathematics in the K-12 common core framework.This integration will provide students with contextualized examples, stronger foundations and deeper understanding of key mathematical concepts.
Featured speaker: Jody Hoff, Senior Manager of Education, Communications and Community Outreach, Federal Reserve Bank San Francisco.
Through her research and outreach for the 12th District of the Federal Reserve Bank, Jody Hoff has developed new methods and curricula for understanding the economy and personal finance. She has been instrumental in bringing the SF Fed's educational outreach into the digital age, enhancing access for educators and students around the nation.
