Road to Success
So, you've decided to build a multiplayer game. Cloud-based, distributed wallets, dynamic matchmaking, advanced social features that are just gonna redefine the very idea of collaborative-killing-of-orcs, .... when you picture it in your head, it's so full of awesome that you're gonna need a second bucket just to hold the overflow.
Now you have to build it and run it.
Join us on Monday, May 13th at 6pm! In this talk, Nikhil Soman, Founder and CEO of Playblazer, will be running an interactive session about server-side architectures and infrastructure behind an async multiplayer game. Follow up by Bill Grosso, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) expert previously at LiveGamer and currently at Rustic Canyon Ventures, sharing some rules of thumb from his years of providing internet-scale platforms. Most of the maxims are obvious, but they have a significant impact on how you design your application, how you structure your contracts, how you think about your legal obligations. And they're also often overlooked until it's too late. So, come, and learn from his experience.
