The Village Project Presents “Grilling in the Mo’” Annual Fillmore Summer Fest Kick-OffGrilling in the Mo’ is a free family BBQ celebrating the start of summer events in the Fillmore and summer enrichment programs for Western Addition youth. Grab some free food, and enjoy the blues with performances by Bobbie “Spider” Webb and Adrian Costa Blues Persuasion Bands, along with performances from The Village Kids Chorus, line dancing, face painting, Kid’s zone and activities for all. The Annual “Summer Fest Kick-Off” jump starts a series of free summer concerts and festivals to be held in the historical Fillmore Jazz District, i.e., The Fillmore Jazz Festival (July 6-7), Salsa on the Fillmore (July 12th -13th) and the Fillmore’s annual Reggae Festival in September. The Village Project will sponsor its 8th all day Summer Enrichment Camp, starting June 10th. The camp is free, and is located at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, 2097 Turk Street.
