"Under the Plastic Stars" uses J.M. Barrie's classic characters, Peter and Wendy, to examine inequality, identity, and gender roles. Inspired by the long-standing tradition of casting a female in the role of Peter, this story dares to imagine that Peter is a girl posing as a boy, due to the abusive and repressive environment of her childhood. The two young girls teach each other how to love, how to live, and ultimately, how to crow. Featuring Sara Fontaine as Peter and Alisha M. Patterson as Wendy.
