Each of Hotel Carlton's guestrooms offers a soft palette of soothing tones such as light, breezy blue and cashmere cream, punctuated by touches of glowing colors like saffron, Oriental red and a cheerful persimmon. The guestrooms also feature hand-painted Moroccan side tables and photography of exquisitely detailed wall paintings from Upper Mustang, Nepal Fifteenth Century temples.
Another cherished facet of this quintessential San Francisco hotel experience is the views. Hotel Carlton isn't flanked by adjoining buildings — a rarity in this district of San Francisco. The majority of rooms look out onto an expansive, unobstructed view. Guest Rooms are located on the first floor and are approximately 350-square-feet with which include all the amenities of the Carlton City-view guestrooms, including a marble desk writing desk, tea and coffee makers in the room, and a robe and in the closet. With two full bathrooms, the ADA bathroom features include a roll-in shower (no bathtub), with a shower bench, safety bars surrounding the shower and commode, accessible sink, and an accessible shower-spray with extension. The other bathroom includes a tub The room is wheelchair accessible with the entrance to the foyer measuring 34 inches, bathroom entrance width measuring 33 inches, sink height of 34 inches, toilet height of 18 1/2 inches, and a bed height of 27 inches. Light controls are lowered in this room.

This one-bedroom suite has a bedroom with king-size bed and a separate living room. Located on the top floor of the hotel, the spacious quarters cover over 630 square feet, and offer expansive, unobstructed views of San Francisco. The living room features a pullout queen sofa bed, a writing desk, and, of course, a 32” flat-panel TV with HDTV programming. Additional amenities include two full bathrooms, walk-in closet, and ceiling fans. Being ADA compliant this room is wheelchair accessible. The 2nd bathroom has a roll-in shower with a shower bench and an adjustable shower spray extension. Safety bars surround the shower and commode and the sink is accessible.
