This course provides attendees with a basic understanding of how building owners use cutting-edge video analytics technology as an interactive surveillance system. The course reviews how video analytics increases the value of conventional surveillance systems, detects and analyzes video data, creates operational efficiencies for business owners and security personnel, and reduces potential risks for customers, employees and visitors.

Michael Linebarger is a 20-year veteran of the electronic security industry, working with regional alarm companies in central California. He has more than 11 years of experience providing sales and customer support, as well as regional and national sales territory management, for other electronic security manufacturers. Michael also operated a technical communications company that focused on information development for leading Silicon Valley technology companies. In 2004, Michael joined Honeywell Security & Custom Electronics as a Business Development Manager, where he develops effective sales and information strategies that focus on sales expansion through applications and value awareness.
