A ghoulish Halloween Extravaganza awaits... ...The word Halloween is a fabled drunkard's failed attempt to verbally describe the Catholic church's observance of the Saints holiday, called "All Hallows Eve". The party seriously started, however, with the 5th century Irish Celts, who on October 31st, celebrated the last day of summer. You see...the Celts believed all laws of time and space were suspended on this day, allowing the spooky spirit world to intermingle with the Living. Therefore, Celt villagers would dress in ghoulish costumes, trying to frighten away the spirits that were looking for HOT bodies to possess. I thought that exemplary so..... with the summer passing and winter approaching, lets chant, lets consume, and lets outdo last years bash!! That's it... ...not wearing a costume would be feeble and way out of the good spirit (the more outrageous/erotic the better) So go out and get your costume and lets have some fun. Cover is $20 in advance $25 day of or at door if not sold out. LIGHTS OUT.......... Will also be having Caliink AirbrushTattoos there to spray on tattoos for anyone that wants one (they also were at my pirate party) If you've ever attended a "Chuck's Party", then you know what to expect. Great costumes, great jokes, great music, and great fun! An annual event at Marilyn's, along with the Pirate Party and the Bad Santa Party, it's an evening we promise you won't forget! And since we hold it a little early, you'll have time to recover for our Halloween Show on the 31st. Get your tickets now, don't wait... this wild party always sells out, and won't you feel silly standing on K Street in your Batman and Cat Woman outfits with nowhere to go! Stephen Katsules, a Greek native of California, began his love for music at an early age, finding the rhythms of music lifted him to a place where he felt truly at home. As a young child he had seen music's raw power and positive influences on people. Through the many weddings he attended as a child, he learned that music brought out the happiness in others. Once Stephen was exposed to electronic music, the beats of dance music changed his life forever. A few short years later, Stephen became DJ Katz and he has never looked back.
