Learn Ruby + Rails the hard and fast way.
For those of you who are are short on time, but still want to experience an in-person, hands on approach to learning a language, you’ve met your match. In this 3-day crash course you’ll learn everything you need to know to migrate to Ruby/Rails from another language or simply sharpen your skills so you can hit the ground running on your next project. The course is designed for those with programming experience in another language, but is open to anyone dedicated to mastering their skills and learning fast, even if you’ve never programmed before.
During the course you will learn by building a web application from scratch. We'll go from command line project creation all the way through deployment. We'll touch every basic principle of Ruby and Rails and work with a number of external libraries to build real, practical applications and not sample, vanilla projects. Since most students will come with programming experience, expect to work at a fast pace and build in real time.
