The Bay Lights Exhibit
Designed by internationally acclaimed light artist Leo Villareal, The Bay Lights is the world’s largest LED light installation. Comprising 25,000 LED energy-efficient lights installed on vertical suspension cables on the western span of the Bay Bridge, The Bay Lights measures 1.8 miles long and more than 500 feet high. This monumental public art will remain on the bridge for two years through March 2015, and organizers anticipate that it will impact an audience of over 50 million people in the Bay Area alone. Illuminated Cruise package

The exclusive "Illuminated Cruise" package was developed in partnership with Tideline Marine Group, San Francisco's first on-demand water taxi service. Tideline's boats are smaller and highly maneuverable, offering a more intimate and comfortable experience for up to six guests.
The one-hour tours are exclusive to guests staying at Joie de Vivre Hotels and consist of up-close views of the Bay lights Exhibit as well as spectacular from-the-water views of favorite San Francisco landmarks such as The Ferry Building, AT&T Park and Coit Tower.
Tideline’s boats are equipped with cozy blankets, sound systems, an enclosed area, and are skippered by a knowledgeable local crew. Joie de Vivre guests will be able to select an evening tour, departing daily from Pier 1 ½ in San Francisco.
