A celebration of all things literary, the 14th annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books - the largest event of its kind in the U.S. - is back April 25-26, 2009 on the UCLA campus, bringing the world of written word to life for lovers of all genres. The festival is a free public event and includes exciting author panels and readings, cooking demonstrations, musical and cultural performances, and two areas of exhibitors and activities for children and families. The Festival of Books also includes nearly 300 exhibitor booths representing booksellers, publishers, literacy and cultural organizations.
