Big Basin Redwoods State Park is California's oldest state park and is home to the largest stand of ancient coast redwoods south of San Francisco. The park features family and group camping, cabins, hiking and biking and equestrian trails.
The park also contain numerous waterfalls and a wide variety of environments from lush canyon bottoms to sparse chaparral-covered slopes. Pick up a map at the park headquarters and traverse through over 80 miles of trails. The park is open year-round from 6:00am to 10:00pm.
