Nestled in the rolling hills of 525-acre Knowland Park, the Zoo is located at the top of a hill with amazing views looking back over the bay, and is home to more than 440 native and exotic animals. The Children’s Zoo was recently refurbished and expanded and is worth the visit. The zoo also features an aerial tram and rides for small children just outside the gate so you don’t have to pay zoo admission to enjoy the nostalgia of riding the mini cars.
