Just seven miles north of Napa, in a valley within a valley, lies the century-old, 240-acre wine estate known as Stags' Leap, one of the world's great Cabernet appellations. The ancient volcanic soils that heat up by day, the bare rock palisades to the east, and the steady cooling breezes that blow dramatically at sunset, all combine to make this a truly unique terroir. If there is a secret to our winemaking it is simply that: terroir. All of our wines are handcrafted to tell the story of the land on which they are grown.
