This Mountain View restaurant is touted as serving some of the best Indian food in the Peninsula. The service can sometimes be a little lacking, or be very good, but the north Indian food is consistently delicious (the butter chicken is a fave). The atmosphere is a step up from many Indian places, so expect to pay a bit more than you might be used to (except at the lunch buffet, which is a great deal). $$
