Well, being on Eddy Street doesn't necessarily guarantee success but Bambuddha became a hit the moment it opened with its Southeast Asian cuisine, groovy lounge vibe by the pool, and DJ-spinning dance club. Very few places can combine a club experience with a spiritual high - Bambuddha does it well.
