The long anticipated Camera 12 Cinema opened June 18th in the heart of downtown San Jose amid much fanfare, premiering for downtown residents such films as the Sundance Film Festival audience favorite Napoleon Dynamite, Around the World in 80 Days (starring Jackie Chan), Dodgeball, and Tom Hanks in Steven Spielberg's The Terminal. This state-of-the-art complex features: 12 movie theaters, ranging from 50 to 300 seats on three levels, new stadium seating with Dolby Digital sound, art/independent/foreign cinema/Hollywood first run/crossover films and Jump Cuts public art.
