Linda Palermo, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, Commune Hotels & Resorts
Linda Palermo is a hospitality industry veteran with over 20 years of diverse experience in sales, marketing, revenue management, e-commerce and operations. Linda’s role at Commune Hotels & Resorts merges the revenue- oriented disciplines under one unified umbrella. It includes responsibility for sales, revenue management, distribution, marketing and public relations for the Commune brands, currently Joie de Vivre and Thompson Hotels.
Her team oversees sales support for over 45 hotels, brand and property marketing and public relations, online marketing and social media efforts, and electronic distribution and revenue management.
Linda was previously Regional Director of Sales for TravelCLICK’s Western North America division, where she led a team responsible for generating Western North America revenues, and worked with brands, management companies, hotels and owners to drive additional profit through growing and shifting business to electronic distribution channels. Prior to that, Linda was the Western Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group. Her experience also includes Vice President of Human Resources for New England’s Tara Hotels Group and sales, marketing and operational positions with Meridien Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Sheraton franchise properties.
Linda is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and serves on the board of the San Francisco Tourism Improvement District.
