Linda Palermo
Chief Revenue Officer
Linda brings more than 20 years of operations and sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry to Joie de Vivre where she was hired as the first CRO in 2007.
Linda oversees all of the sales, revenue management, marketing and public relations functions for Joie de Vivre, including corporate sales support, in-house marketing services, brand initiatives, online marketing efforts, electronic distribution, and channel management.
Linda has many years of experience in the hospitality industry where she had leading roles in sales and marketing, revenue management, and human resources. She started her hospitality career with Hyatt Hotels in 1988 and has worked with Sheraton franchise operations and Le Meridien Hotels in addition to InterContinental Hotels and TravelCLICK. Prior to joining Joie de Vivre, Linda was regional director of sales for TravelCLICK’s Western North America division, where she led a team responsible for generating Western North America revenues and worked with brands, management companies, hotels, and owners to drive additional profit through growing and shifting business to electronic distribution channels. Prior to that, Linda was the Western Regional director of sales and marketing for InterContinental Hotels, where she oversaw sales, marketing, revenue management, catering and conference services for the Mark Hopkins Hotel and eight managed/owned Crowne Plaza Hotels. Additionally, she held the title of vice president of human resources for The Flatley Company’s Tara Hotels in Braintree, MA.
Linda was raised in the Philippines and is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where she is involved as an admissions volunteer.
