Karlene Holloman, Senior Vice President Operations, Joie de Vivre Hotels
Karlene has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry in both the U.S. and Australia. Her career in the hospitality industry has spanned most all aspects of hotel operations, including hotel openings, day-to-day management and administration. She joined Joie de Vivre Hospitality in August 1998 and continues to be an evangelist for Joie de Vivre’s core values.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Karlene acts as a positive role model for Joie de Vivre and represents Joie de Vivre’s Senior Leadership to employees, guests, and owners. She supports the hotels in meeting the objectives of their business plans at existing, re-launching, transitioning or opening hotels.
Prior to joining Joie de Vivre, Karlene managed a variety of operational aspects for hotels, catering and restaurants throughout the hotel and resort industry in Australia. Her career highlights include opening major hotel/condo properties for Mirvac Hotels, Australia, the premier property/hotel developer in that country.
She holds an Associate Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from Ryde College, in Sydney, Australia.
