5 things I love about the Orange County area:
The weather (of course), the amazing events that take place almost every weekend, the feeling of community in a laid back surf town, the beautiful sunsets at the Huntington Beach pier, Surf City Nights - the best farmer's market/street fair around (I never miss it!) and the Bolsa Chica Wetlands.

My favorite local hidden treasure you shouldn't miss:
The Breadcrumb - Ohana Cafe
(19079 Beach Blvd, 714-960-5051) in the Steinmart Shopping Center. This is the perfect little breakfast spot with a very relaxed, hometown vibe and very reasonable prices. The owners are very nice and make you feel comfortable in their restaurant. They have some of the best french toast I've ever had and their fruit salad is killer!

My perfect day spent in the Huntington Beach: My perfect day would start with breakfast at The Breadcrumb (19079 Beach Blvd, 714-960-5051) . It would then be followed by riding beach cruisers along the Ocean Strand, taking in the sun and surf and checking out Dog Beach.  I would then walk around the Bolsa Chica Wetlands (3842 Warner Ave, 714-846-1114) then grab an early dinner at Zimzala (500 PCH, 714-960-5050) over a fabulous conversation with friends. Lastly, I would end the day with a beach bonfire at Huntington City Beach.
