5 things I love about the Los Angeles Area:
1. A movie at the Grove shopping mall. 2. Creole food and live jazz at the Farmer’s Market in the Fairfax area. 3. A walking tour of the UCLA campus. 4. A picnic dinner at the Hollywood Bowl – doesn’t matter who is performing, it will be a wonderful evening. 5. Going to the Wine Expo on Santa Monica Blvd. in West L.A. to learn more from the wine guru, Robert.
My favorite local hidden treasure you shouldn't miss:
Divino Restaurant in Brentwood Village, non pretentious, but high quality Italian cuisine – Locals and the occasional celebrity.
My perfect day spent in the San Francisco Bay Area:
My perfect day spent in the Southern California (LA area)starts with eating the amazing banana pecan pancakes at Doughboys on 3rd St. in Los Angeles. The crowd is very eclectic – primarily entertainment business young professionals. Then driving to Pasadena to tour the historic Green and Green Gamble House. Stroll through Old Town Pasadena. Lunch at J-Lo’s restaurant, Madre, while in Pasadena. Drive to downtown L.A. and walk through China Town or Olvera Street. While downtown, attend a basketball game at Staple Center and eat dinner at the incredible buffet restaurant. End the day with after dinner drinks at the West Lounge at the Hotel Angeleno.
