Kimberly Atkinson

Age: 40
San Francisco

When I took the Hotel Matchmaker test these are the words I selected:
Mature/discrete, Natural/unpretentious, Cool/hip, Casual/relaxed, Worldly/sensual
My favorite activities include:
Brisk walks along the waterfront, neighborhood festivals, sleeping in on foggy Sunday mornings, cheering for the 49ers, volunteering, trying to bake the perfect loaf of bread, dancing to cover bands at local nightclubs...the list goes on and on.
I was born and raised in:
San Francisco!
I currently live:
In hilly San Francisco
What do I do to make a buck?:
Share my knowledge, energy and sass
5 things I love about the San Francisco Bay Area:
Fog, hills, free-spirited people co-existing peacefully with ultra conservatives, the museums, the culture on every corner, our Autumnal summers, SF Jazz Festival, Japan Town, old Victorians, micro-climates, wait, that was more than 5.
My favorite local hidden treasure you shouldn't miss:
The Russian Hill Stairway Walks
My perfect day spent in the San Francisco Bay Area:
Start the day by grabbing a cup of coffee and a sourdough roll and head to the Embarcadero to watch The City wake up, then head over to Washington Square Park (Stockton and Columbus Streets) to read a book and bask in the sunshine (or fog). In the afternoon I'd catch a film at the Castro Theatre (429 Castro Street, 415-624-6120) or a massage at Kabuki Spa (1750 Geary Boulevard, 415-922-6000) or visit the art at the SF MOMA (151 Third Street, 415-357-4000). In the evening, I'd have a lively al-fresco dinner with friends at Plouf (40 Belden Place) then a night of live music.
