- When I took the Hotel Matchmaker test these are the words I selected:
- Fun-loving/energetic, Romantic/dreamy, Traditional, Young-at-Heart/Whimsical, Welcoming/Friendly
- My favorite activities include:
- Raising money for my local Greek church and dancing at the ‘Top of the Mark” on Nob Hill on a Saturday night.
- I was born and raised in:
- San Francisco. A real native!
- I currently live:
- Potrero Hill, San Francisco
- What do I do to make a buck?:
- I'm a Office Manager for a business firm that has offices in the famous Pyramid building downtown San Francisco.
- 5 things I love about the San Francisco Bay Area:
- Great weather! Temperature rarely goes below 50 or above 80, and it never snows.
- It's a walking Town
- Liberalism is rampant here in the city ☺
- Compact – you can survive without a car
- Creative Energy
- My favorite local hidden treasure you shouldn't miss:
- The Castro Theater. The movies are always excellent and the theater is always beautiful. The best experience at the theater is the evening performance when the Castro Theater organist plays right before the film. The organist performance always ends (as the organ dramatically sinks into the orchestra pit) with “San Francisco, Open Your Golden Gate”, which always brings down the house
- My perfect day spent in the San Francisco Bay Area:
- Catching one of the historic F-Market streetcars heading toward PIER 39 (yes, even us locals like going to the wharf!) and have breakfast at the Eagles Café on the second floor of the pier. I would not miss saying good morning to the sea lions and then continue over to the end of the pier for a dead-on view of Alcatraz Island. After taking in some shopping at the Pier I would begin my walk to Aquatic Park to complete a tour of Fisherman's Wharf (never get tired of looking at the smells and the sounds of this busy tourist area). I never miss the Hyde Street Pier and the Maritime National Museum – historic ships right in our harbor! After getting a free chocolate bar (given out every day) at Ghirardelli Square I would head on over to the Marina. To get there I would take a 30 Stockton bus on Bay Street to Chestnut Street - a great place to spend the afternoon shopping and then hopefully have lunch at Café Marimba, a fun Mexican restaurant. I would then find my way over to the Palace of Fine Arts through Crissy Fields and then walk over to the Presidio for a cup of coffee at the new café at the Lucas Digital Center and take another picture of the Yoda water fountain and then take another peek at the Star Wars costumes in the lobby of the main building. I would end the day by walking over to the Golden Gate Bridge to remind myself again why I truly love living in this magical city!
